CENTIFOLIA

This hybrid of a number of species was a favorite of the Dutch.   The Dutch bred this rose for it's beautiful form.  Cenitfolia translated means one hundred petals.  With so many petals they can resemble cabbages (or peonies) - hence their name Cabbage Roses.  They have an open habit.

Centifolia: Pink, fragrant blooms, 4x3, Zones 4-9

The Bishop: A rose with an upright habit and fragrant double blooms ranging from deep purple to magenta to gray-violet. 4’ tall.
