HYBRID
TEA
Introduced in 1867, these mark the start of modern roses. Long
stemmed double blossoms are found on upright shrubs. Hybrid teas have a huge range of
colors from white to nearly black. These roses are great for cutting.

Dainty
Bess: pink, fragrant, 5 to 6 feet, Elegant single flowers of soft pink with
maroon stamens. A nice rose to mix with perennials. Zone 5

Folklore: salmon, 5 to 7 feet, Salmon blooms with yellowish centers make
for a stunning single stemmed rose. The foliage is dark green on long canes.

Peace: yellow with pink edges, 5 to 6 feet, Long-lasting blooms of pale
yellow with pink edges have made this a world favorite. Like many of the hybrids, Peace is
susceptible to black spot.
