Habitat: Woodland tree for good soils.
Wildlife Value: Seeds of the White Spruce are consumed by a variety of birds.Grouse eat the needles from the tree.  Spruce are also good for year round cover and nesting.
Landscape Value:  Provide protection from the wind.  Good background planting.
