Habitat: Found in moist conditions with acidic soil in full sun to partial shade.
Wildlife Value: Berries consumed by birds in late winter.
Landscape Value: Berries persist until late winter providing a nice burst of bright red in the white and brown of winter.
Notes: Need to have both a male and female in order to produce the bright berries.
